Any program that pays commission on more than the first transaction. We split them further into capped programs, which stop after a set number of months, and lifetime programs, which continue for as long as the referred account keeps paying.
Is lifetime recurring always better than a twelve-month cap?
Usually, but not always. A lifetime rate on a product with heavy churn can pay less over two years than a capped rate on a product people keep. Retention matters as much as the cap, which is why recurring potential and program stability are scored separately.
Which programs here pay for the lifetime of the customer?
Kinsta, Cloudways (on its hybrid model), Thinkific, Kajabi, MailerLite, AWeber, Mighty Networks, Leadpages, Unbounce, Instapage, Writesonic and Rytr all pay without a fixed month cap. HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive, Jasper and Teachable all cap at twelve months.
