Accountability

Everything published here is researched, written and corrected by one named person:Alston Antony, publisher and editor. There is no anonymous content team, no rotating freelance byline, and no page on this site whose author cannot be identified.

If a record is wrong, the correction goes to the same person who wrote it. That is deliberate — a directory whose accuracy is its only real asset should have someone's name attached to it. Background and credentials are on the about page.

Independence

Commercial relationships have no influence on program data, scores or rankings. This is enforced structurally rather than by promise: the scoring module in our codebase does not receive the sponsorship flag as an input, so a sponsored program is computationally indistinguishable from an unsponsored one at the point the score is calculated.

Specifically, we will not:

  • Sell a higher SaaS Affiliate Score, or adjust one on request
  • Sell a position in an organic ranking or category listing
  • Remove an unfavourable fact from a record because a company asked
  • Delete a record because a company dislikes its status
  • Publish a sponsored placement without labelling it as sponsored

Sponsored placements exist and are described on the advertising page. They buy visibility in clearly labelled positions. They do not buy a score, a ranking position, or the removal of anything true.

Research standards

Program facts are sourced from the vendor's own affiliate page, terms or help documentation wherever such a source exists. Affiliate network listings are used second. Third-party reporting is a last resort and is labelled as such on the record.

We do not treat affiliate blogs as authoritative for commission figures when an official source exists, and we do not resolve conflicts by picking the most commonly repeated number. Where two credible sources disagree and no official source settles it, the field is left empty and the conflict is noted.

The full source hierarchy and scoring method are documented in the methodology.

Original writing

Company descriptions are written from researched facts, not copied from vendor marketing. We do not reproduce product copy, and we do not publish content whose purpose is to repeat what other affiliate directories already say.

Program pages lead with the program, not the product. This is an affiliate program directory, not a software review site — the software itself is described only as far as it helps you judge whether the program is worth promoting.

Verification and freshness

A record's last-verified date is set only when someone actually rechecks the program against its sources. It is never advanced by a rebuild, a content edit or a redesign. Records that have not been rechecked recently show their real age.

We aim to recheck active programs every 30 days and flag anything past 60 days for review. Meeting that target is a resourcing question, not a data-integrity one — an overdue record stays honestly overdue rather than being silently refreshed.

Corrections

We will get things wrong, and program terms change without notice. Report an error through the correction form or the "Report outdated information" link on any program page.

Our handling:

  • Factual errors are corrected in the record once verified against a primary source
  • Substantive changes to commission, cookie duration, network or status are added to that program's published change history, so the previous value remains visible
  • The verification date is updated only when the recheck actually happens
  • We do not quietly edit a figure and pretend it was always that way

User submissions

Programs submitted by companies are not published automatically. Every submission is researched against the vendor's own affiliate page and terms before a record is created, and the published record reflects what we verified rather than what was submitted. If our findings differ from the submission, we publish our findings.

Submitting a program does not guarantee a listing. Programs that cannot be verified, or that fail our publishing standards, are not published.

Guest contributions

We accept a small number of genuinely original contributions on SaaS affiliate marketing. Rewritten listicles, AI-generated filler and pieces whose purpose is a backlink are declined. Accepted pieces are edited, attributed, and subject to the same factual standards as our own writing. Links in guest content are editorial decisions, not part of the arrangement.

Ratings and reviews

The SaaS Affiliate Score is our own editorial rating of a program, calculated from published data and stated weights. It is not an aggregate of user reviews, and we do not mark it up as review or rating structured data, because presenting it as user-generated ratings would misrepresent what it is.

We do not publish testimonials, star ratings or user reviews that we have not collected.

Claims about ourselves

We do not publish audience figures, affiliate counts or earnings totals that we cannot document. Where the site quotes a number about itself, it is computed from the dataset — programs tracked, programs verified from official sources, categories covered, latest verification date.
