Email service providers and marketing automation platforms.
Email marketing is the strongest category in SaaS affiliate marketing for recurring revenue. Subscriptions renew monthly, churn is comparatively low once a list is migrated, and several vendors pay for the lifetime of the account rather than capping at twelve months. It is also a category where the difference between a lifetime rate and a twelve-month rate compounds into very different annual income.

We prioritise vendors that publish their commission structure and payout terms openly. Where a vendor operates a tiered rate that starts below its advertised maximum, we record both the entry rate and the ceiling rather than only the number used in its marketing. Programs paying a fixed bounty per signup are included alongside percentage programs, because for low-priced plans a bounty is often worth more.
Programs are ordered by the SaaS Affiliate Score, an editorial rating built from commission, recurring potential, cookie duration, payout terms, promotional flexibility, program stability and market opportunity. Components whose underlying data a vendor does not publish are dropped from the calculation rather than guessed at, so no program is penalised for a figure it never disclosed. Sponsorship has no input into the score.
Among the programs we have verified, MailerLite and AWeber pay recurring commission for as long as the referred account stays subscribed, with no twelve-month cap. ActiveCampaign guarantees twelve months and continues beyond that subject to its partner terms.
It depends on the plan size you can realistically refer. A 30% lifetime commission on a $29/month plan is worth about $104 in the first year, while a $105 one-time bounty pays out faster with no churn risk. Percentage deals win on large accounts and long retention; bounties win on volume and small plans.
Not automatically, and it is worth checking. Several email platforms restrict promotion through cold or purchased lists even though the product itself is an email tool. Where a vendor documents its rules we record them in the promotional restrictions section of the program page.
