The short version
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you join a program through one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. This never affects a program's SaaS Affiliate Score, its position in any ranking, or whether we list it at all.
Current status
This site is new, and at present we hold no affiliate partnerships at all. Every outbound link currently points to the vendor's own page with our UTM tags attached, so partners can see the traffic we send them. We earn nothing from any of them today. No listings are currently sponsored.
We publish this rather than implying a commercial relationship we do not have. As partnerships are added, the affected links are marked and this page is updated.
How to tell which is which
Every program page carries a disclosure line above the fold stating one of two things:
- "This page contains affiliate links" — we may earn commission if you join through the button on that page.
- "We do not currently earn commission from this program" — the link goes to the vendor's own page with our UTM tags and pays us nothing.
Affiliate links are additionally marked in the page source with rel="sponsored nofollow". Links to official terms and evidence are never affiliate links — they always point directly at the source so you can check it yourself.
Sponsored placements
SaaS companies can pay for visibility through the options on our advertising page. Any placement bought this way is visibly labelled Sponsored wherever it appears, and carries a disclosure explaining what the sponsorship covers.
Sponsorship buys placement. It does not buy:
- A higher SaaS Affiliate Score — the scoring code does not read the sponsorship flag
- A position in an organic ranking, category list or "best" page
- Removal or softening of an unfavourable fact
- Editorial control over the record's wording
Why we tag outbound links
Where we have no affiliate relationship, outbound links carry UTM parameters identifying SaaSAffiliate.net as the source. This lets vendors see the traffic we send them in their own analytics. It does not track you across the internet and contains no information about you — only which page on our site the click came from.
How commission is structured
Where a partnership exists, we are paid by the vendor or its affiliate network on the same terms published on that program's page. We have no arrangement in which payment is contingent on coverage being favourable, and we do not accept such arrangements.
Regulatory position
This disclosure is provided in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and testimonials, and equivalent requirements elsewhere. Disclosure appears before the affiliate link on every page where one is present, not only on this page.
