Quick answer

Yes. Kit runs an active affiliate program on PartnerStack paying 50% commission for the first twelve months of each referred subscription, then a reported 10–20% ongoing once you reach Bronze status or higher. Cookie duration is reported as both 60 and 90 days depending on the source, so we have not recorded a figure.

Program overview

Kit, known as ConvertKit until its 2024 rebrand, sells email marketing and monetisation tools built specifically for creators. Its affiliate program pays a high first-year rate that steps down to a smaller ongoing percentage rather than stopping entirely.

Pros and limitations

Pros

  • 50% for the first year is among the highest in the category
  • Commission continues at 10–20% beyond year one for affiliates holding a status level
  • Commission grows as the referred account grows
  • Very low $5 withdrawal threshold

Limitations

  • Kit does not publish an attribution window anywhere we could verify
  • The ongoing 10–20% requires maintaining a qualifying status level
  • Roughly a two-month lag between the transaction and the money being withdrawable
  • Free plan means many referrals never convert to paid

Editor's notes

Kit's own domain and help centre both refuse automated access behind Cloudflare. The same help article is served from Intercom's domain, which is how these terms were verified against a primary source. The attribution window is still unpublished — third parties report both 60 and 90 days, and Kit's own documentation states neither.

Frequently asked questions

Is Kit the same as ConvertKit?

Yes. ConvertKit rebranded to Kit in 2024. One company, one affiliate program, so this directory holds a single record — searches for either name resolve here and /programs/convertkit/ redirects.

What happens after the first 12 months?

Commission does not stop entirely. Kit states that affiliates maintaining a qualifying status level earn 10–20% recurring on referrals who stay beyond 12 months. Affiliates without a status level earn nothing after month 12.

How quickly does Kit pay?

Slowly. Kit's own worked example: a transaction on 4 July generates commission on 4 August, is reviewed between 1 and 7 September, and lands in your PartnerStack wallet around 13 September. The withdrawal threshold is only $5, but the lag is roughly two months.
